Hey all, I can't figure this out. When I plug in digital camera to upload pics, sonic dvd thing opens up. I've been looking around in the control panel, under set program access and defults, but I'm not figuring it out. The sonic won't open the photos, nor do I really want it to. Do y'all know how I may stop this? Thanks.

Does a box pop up when you plug in the camera asking what to do with the device? Sometimes that happens with USB devices... Not ever having used a digital camera, this might be normal behavior for it, I don't know.
Take care, and perhaps this was somewhat helpful?

O i think i had something like this before with some kinda camera.
If it shows up as a drive on your computer theres something in the propaties tab list that lets you chose what happens when you plug it in; (propaties of the drive that it shows up as). Sorry i can't help more, pm me if you still cant do it and ill find out in more detail for you.

Hth, BEN.

A thought! Go in to the preferences and see if perhaps there is somethinkg regarding imaging devices that you can turn off. It sounds like there is an association between the dvd softwaer and the plugging in of an imaging device or perhaps the particular file type your camera is using. Usually, in the preferences of a pfogram you can correct these types of associations.

Wooh Hooh, thank you all! Under my computer, then where the camera showed up, I hit on propperties, then into actions. Now, it asks me which program would I like to use. Yippy! Thanks again!
